About the Role
Newry and Mourne Community Transport is always on the look out for new Volunteer Drivers to help local people stay connected, independent and active within their community.
Many of our members rely on us to attend medical appointments, go shopping, visit friends and family, or take part in social activities. As a Volunteer Driver, you will play a vital role in reducing isolation and improving quality of life for people across the Newry and Mourne area.
Requirements
As a Volunteer Driver, you will:
Provide safe and reliable transport for our members
Offer a friendly and supportive service
Assist passengers where appropriate
Represent Newry and Mourne Community Transport in a professional manner
Full UK Driving Licence
Willing to complete AccessNI checks and required training
