What a fantastic day we had at the Positive Ageing Celebration! With music, dancing, useful information and plenty of craic, the event brought people together for a day full of friendship and community spirit.

As summer draws to a close, we are looking back on the journeys completed by Newry and Mourne Community Transport throughout June, July and August. Our manager Stephen recently attended a meeting with Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins, alongside other community transport groups, to discuss how additional funding has helped services like ours support more local people. This funding has allowed Newry and Mourne Community Transport to meet growing demand and help vulnerable, isolated and rural residents access essential services.
